The purpose of the African Student Association is to increase the awareness of diversity and multi-cultural aspects of Africa and the African people. The African Student Association will encourage all events that broaden the spheres of culture, society, and education. We are dedicated to our commitment to share the wealth and greatness of Africa with the campus community and the surrounding communities.
We believe we have a responsibility to promote an understanding of the various African Cultures to the Salisbury University Campus and local communities through various cultural activities and programs. Membership is open to persons officially connected with the university such as students, faculty, and staff. The African Student Association openly admits students to its organization. We don't discriminate on the basis of race, color, creed, sex, personal appearance, age, national origin, political affiliation, and physical or mental disability. A student is considered a member by attending 2/3 of all meetings throughout the semester. Each member must display active participation in all activities the organization sponsors unless the activity interferes with academic, religious, or economic affairs.
The African Students Association presents "His Excelency"
A 'Must See' Play with an epic display of Love, Desires,
Struggles, Tribulations and Redemption.
